Domain
This is a domain name of your choice (yourname.com).

Disk Storage
This provides the amount of disk space, that can be used for files on your domain. Each 100 megs represents appx 5000 files.

Transfer/Traffic Allowance
Each account provides at least 1 GB of transfer/month. Each 1 gig equals approximately 85,000 hits of traffic.

Web Mail
This is a powerful web based email and portal solution and allows you check your email from anywhere in the world with a web browser. http://www.coreave.com/mail

Email Redirects
The Coreave System enables you to redirect email aliases to any POP box of your choice, allowing you access from anywhere in the world. An alias is a name@yourdomain.com. For example paul@yourdomain.com could be redirected to paul@visi.net, your ISP account for viewing. You can also provide friends similar aliases at your domain and point it to their ISP.

Telnet/FTP
Telnet is a program that enables you log into a remote host/terminal (E.g.: Home PC) as though that terminal were attached directly to our server.

FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is a simple method of uploading files from your computer to the Coreave server.

POP Accounts
This is a private secure storage location for anyone sending email to your POP box. It can be accessed from just about anywhere by a 3rd party email program like Eudora or Netscape. See your welcome to Coreave message for full details and needed information.

Autoresponders
An auto responder is a pre-determined message with information you want automatically sent to anyone who emails a designated email address/mailbox at your domain. When an email is sent to a mailbox that you have assigned an auto respond message to the auto responder automatically sends a reply. You can easily create an auto responder with the Control Panel provided with your domain. http://www.yourdomain.com/control/

Access probe
This is a very powerful tool for graphically tracking visitors to your site. It provides you statistics on how long visitors were there, what pages they visited and the order in which they were visited what browser was being used and where the visitors came from.

Vaid Referrer
This is an extended logging feature of Access Probe that shows where each visitor to your site came from. You will know if they found you through a search engine or a web site link. This is invaluable information when planning and evaluating your sites marketing efforts.

Mailing List
This is a very flexible tool for interacting with your customers or clients. In simple terms it's an interactive style newsletter that allows you to distribute information. Features include subscribe and unsubscribe. There is one installed with each account viewable from your control panel.

Access to Secure Server
Each Domain may purchase their own Secure Certificate from any of the leading authorities such as Thawte Certificates Any sensitive information you need encrypted before transmission through a web browser is done using the Apache SSL server.

Server Side Includes
SSI or Server Side Includes allows the server to parse special page commands. For example if you wanted a footer on all your pages that may change from time to time, you can create a text file with the desired footer and place it in your domain. On each page you put a simple 'Include' to read that file and place it on the desired pages. There is an extra $2.00 per month charge at Coreave for this service. Per Domain.

FrontPage® 2000
The Microsoft® FrontPage® 2000 web site creation and management tool gives users everything they need to easily create and manage great web sites. You are required to own and install the FrontPage® 98 or 2000 software and on your home system. Included with all domains. Must be requested to become operational.

WebControl System
This is our proprietary web administration system, which allows you to handle all aspects of site administration. You can add/edit your redirects, mailing lists, subscribable mailing lists and auto responders. You can also change read, write or executable permissions on any of the files or directories in your WWW directory. This allows you to upload, edit, and rename files and much more...

MySQL/MSQL
These are multi-user, multi-threaded SQL database engines offering speed, robustness and ease of use. SQL is a standardized language that makes it easy to store, update and access information. Subscribable Mail lists
The System allows you to create multiple mailing lists based on customer interests. You provide customers an email address they can send an email to and be added to your personalized mailing list. As soon as customers sign on. This is a great way to cost effectively communicate with your customers through monthly newsletters, sales updates or just a friendly hello. Each list can hold 1000 names and a 75kb message can be emailed to all the lists you create.
